Hi guys ! Here is a new asset I've done for Star Wars Redemption, the Destroyer Class Acclamator ! I've done it using several plans and shots from assets arround the web/books, ( special thanks to star wars universe for their acclamator's details here on sketchfab, it helped me to understand way faster how the ship's shapes worked ;) ), and of course using same modeling methods I did years ago so this new model fits perfectly to the game =) ( it also has damn less tris ^^" ) Modeled with 3dsmax, handpainted with 3DCoat. Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.
