I usually never do fan art, but this one was an exception. I think the look and feel of Barotrauma is great, and it's amazing how the team has captured the atmosphere of underwater horror. It's something that has excited me for a long time, and I would very much like to do a VR horror game set in the bottom of a deep sea. The goal of this model was to practice using marmoset and quixel to make an asset similiar to one existing in a game to test my abilities, i chose to model the drilldozer (doretta) from Deep Rock Galactic. The game has a low-poly aesthetic and i wanted to try to make a more photoreal version and had to make some adjustments to the design to fit the change.
