I love old cars and wanted to attempt to make one. While I was looking for which vehicle to recreate I instantly fell in love with the 1905 Buick and NEEDED to model it. This car reminded me of a carriage and it just seems so magical, at least to me.
I couldn’t find many reference images for this vehicle and the ones that I found were not very high res, but I am satisfied with how this project turned out while using what I could find. When I saw it I wondered what it would have looked like new and this is what I came up with.
I think Sketchfab reflections give it a shimmery reflection accross timezones effect which I think looks amazing.
The Blender Cycles render gives it an exact mirror reflection and the effect can be seen in the video below:
