I made this model for my final assignment at DAE Howest. The idea was to pick a concept and recreate it in 3D, studying materials along the way and making it believable. Modeled in 3Ds max and the materials were made in Substance painter. For the course Stylised Creation at Howest DAE I made this cute dog. This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches.

My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model.
