A clothing and armor set designed for my fantasy RPG, Riptide. I created this blue cloak a long time ago, on a design that I was extremely unhappy with other parts like the gloves and boots. BUT, I loved the cloak and so it became the core of the Ydanian fashion :). 29K per armor set including a sword. I am extremely happy with the poly count and rigging, and may very well consider this a final draft of the Ydanian “Jack-Rabbits". Basic armor made for a side project, the armor is to be semi-modular, additional armor elements can be replaced with another of the same type of armor, for example: Shoulders, Bracers, greaves, a breastplate can be replaced with parts from another armor set of the same type . that’s why I decided to make several texture sets. What happened to the viking?
A little 3D story made for the WeeklyCGChallenge #102 “Viking Age”. I’m really happy with how this turned out.
Almost everything was done with Blender, but I also used PixPlant to get the map textures. It’s a great tool, easy to use, and easy to get great results for the Specular material workflow!
