Playing Alien Isolation recently inspired me to start working on my own Nostromo interior in Unity 5, great practise for super detailed hard surface environments and poly-count budgets. These are the walls of the Hypersleep stasis chamber, the first model I've made for the interior so far. I think it's turning out okay so far. A client contacted me for an alien V-streamer. I came up with several design and story ideas for them. Basic idea is that she came to earth wanting to learn more about us so she indulge in our cultures like gaming and films, so I want to create a cute, appealing and curious design. The client ended up going for a more alien than a cute alien so they shelved her. I myself still like her and want her design to be finished so I did finish her design, tell me what you think of her !

After playing some Alien: Isolation I just had to make this model. After a day and a half of work, fueled mainly by hip hop, it is complete.
The face detail is actually all texture work and the face geometry itself is completely flat. I could have used a high-low poly bake but I decided instead to use an alpha and the height map stamping effect in Substance Painter as I was going to be spending a lot of time authoring the texture for the face text anyway I might as well just make an alpha for the imprint (also my laptop would probably just melt if I tried to work with a high poly with enough polygons).
