Last week I found a cool tutorial series in art station so I decided to follow it. I mostly followed my own stylized asset path while modelling but at some points I followed tutorial. At this point I am not be able to say tutorial was good or bad because I watched only small part of it but in the overall it was looking good. This is number 1 of 4 swords created in 3D based on Ryan’s concept art. For one of my final modules in University I am creating 4 new portfolio pieces where I want to focus on asset creation without creating the concept art myself to see how they turn out.
I created the base model in Maya, took that into ZBrush to soften the edges and add in more detail, lastly I took it into Substance Painter to texture 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 5862 polygons.
