This is Komaru Naegi’s “Megaphone Hacking Gun” from Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. I’ve been enjoying the game so I decided to whip this up. I mostly used screen shots from my Vita for reference photos, because of that I really wasn’t able to get a clear view of the icons on the top of the gun or the actual grip of the gun. I’ve made a good amount of gun grips before so it wasn’t an issue trying to sculpt the spline around how Komaru holds the gun. This model was made for a university project. The goal was to bake a high poly onto a normal map with the low poly under 30,000 plygons. form the MechWarrior BattleTech Universe. I made the low and hogh poly models in Maya, then added detail to the high poly in Zbrush before baking that onto a normal map in Substance Painter.
