The first car in a new artstyle that I’ve been concepting. It’s an homage to late 90’s PS1 games, like Gran Turismo.
I used some of the same techniques used by artist back then such as opacity wheels, floating textures etc. although the not necessarily to make a 100% authentic PS1 era model.

Decided to attempt a more detailed sculpt for this month, particularly focusing on wrinkles and organic detailing. Originally was planning on practicing simple hard surface techniques by creating a deer’s skull, but decided to take it further and create the famous Native American cryptid, the Wendigo.

A night-lurking variant of a cyclops I challenged myself to make after not using Blender for a while as frequently. Was originally suppose to be its own “thing” but about 20% in, i I thought it could work out as being a variant of the cyclops. So this was a cool project to work on, I like sculpting weird artsy stuff and I’ve been trying to learn Speedtree and trees are pretty boring to look at for hours at a time while you’re trying to figure out what all the buttons and sliders do. I also had to learn a whole new workflow for this but it is what it is.
The concept was heavily inspired by ‘The Last Of Us’ in the beginning, I also wanted the body to be similar to my ‘Corpse Flower’ model since theyre both in a larger project together.
Initially while I was figuring out Speedtree this model had blue leaves so I was going for that Willow tree vibe but it wasnt looking right.
