This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid.
This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. 3D Assets for a VR Game for the portfolio class project at HCC. I had the role/job of 3D Artist and was tasked with 3D modeling and texturing assets similarly to their real life counterparts. Then, importing assets to Unity while making sure they work inside the engine.
Credits to DELL for logos/original product designs and NEC plus other branding included. Some textures were custom made/tweaked in Photoshop, but most assets I did use official/external logos. Assets not for sale, made for educational purposes.
Special thanks to family and friends, class peers and prof. Chris Khuong for everything. Learned a lot while doing these assets.
Software used, blender and substance painter. Assets will be used inside Unity. Workflow includes baking with high to low poly models. Maya was used for re-topo revisions for some instances.
