A new category of weapon from MBDA is ‘Remote Carriers’, various air-launched autonomous platforms that deliver multiple effects, whether lethal or non-lethal, as well as new services for munitions such as intelligence, targeting, and deception of enemy sensors. Such remote carriers would function as baits and decoys, carry additional weapons ahead of the manned aircraft and closer to heavily defended targets, collect ISR or establish communications nodes. The RC100 is a derivative of the Smart Glider and has the same dimensions and weight, 1.8 meters and 120 kg respectively. Being an expendable system cost is obviously an issue thus passive and active payloads installed will have to take that parameter into consideration. This is a little passed the blockout stage of my Drone model. This is my high-res model, currently straight ripped from Maya and put into here. The dome on the front and the glass on the tranq dart will eventually be glass.

Got together with a bunch of my buddies one morning and we all took tons of photos (1780) while another friend flew a drone over and around the arch to get the above photos (another 1739).
Here’s a screengrab that shows all the camera angles we captured, including the drone shots:
The arch is over 24 meters (80 feet) tall and it’s right in the middle of a high traffic intersection, so it presents many challenges, and I’m not even talking about all the trees around it.
It’s my first large-scale scan and I hit so many walls with getting it to come out well, largely because ZBrush has a 50 million polygon limit. Anyway, this is the first of many.
