This is fixed version of a tree which is a part of my game art course assignment. I've decided to reupload as a new file because of the significant changes I made: -Both parts of the tree work perfectly fine together or as a separate objects -Stump uses the same texture sheet as a tree -Floating leaves texture was moved to the grass .tga Grass and the lantern are not part of this asset and original file, but I have decided to put them into sketchfab with a tree to enchance scene mood and aesthetics. A few years ago I was asked by PK (aka King Deluxe) to contribute something to his VRChat world called The Land of Ooo, which was based on the cartoon TV series Adventure Time. For reasons I still can’t quite fathom I volunteered to take on creating Finn and Jake’s entire Tree Fort inside and out!
I completed the model but unfortunately other work commitments at the time meant I wasn’t able to texture it, so it was left up to other artists to finish it off. A simple stylized fantasy tree. I really like how it turned out! In the future, I think I’ll join the leaves on the tree to the actual tree model, and potentially fill it in more than I have. I tried to stick to simple colours, and give it a bit more texture than just being flat, while still keeping the look. I’ve always been a sucker for glowing mushrooms. Or glowing anything.
Modeled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter.
