Felipe III y siendo corregidor D. Remírez de Arellano, Regidor de Toro, se acabó esta obra - Año 1610.»
En el primer cuarto del s. XX, con la generalización de los vehículos a motor se hizo necesario el ensanche del puente y la retirada del arco.
