Here are a pair of Dynamite sticks that I modelled for my Final Major Project at college, however they ended up not being used and were pushed to one side. Since I've now finished college, I thought I'd go back to it and rework the topology and polycount, as well as texturing it using Substance Painter to achieve optimum results. Even though its not perfect, I'm pleased with the result and may have a couple of other western assets coming up soon. Enjoy! The western lantern tortoise is actually fairly well camouflaged during the whole year, except for the autumn months, when it has to actively look for as much food as possible to survive hibernation during the cold winter months. Forfeiting camouflage strategy, it uses bioluminescent cells in it’s skin and the thinner parts of it’s shell to scare away predators with a haunting, glowing face on it’s back that resembles a far larger creature. Because of it’s appearance, and it’s active behaviour during the halloween season, it’s often mistaken for a large pumpkin in the dark, hence it’s name.
