Mostly it was sponsored by Paul Ricard, who wanted to experience the challenges on making a race circuit. At the time it was opened, it was considered the safest track in the world. Wide tarmac run off areas with red and blue stripes make a lot of room for mistakes, and give the track a unique look. Scale bar has been applied so photogrammetry is correctly scaled. Lods have been cleaned up to remove floating polygons and close holes (where possible)
Note there are 2 diffuse maps with this package. The first diffuse map texture is the original photography. The second map is called diffuse_3 and are delit for re-lighting so you have both options available to you.
