This is one of the castle-room models that I’ve made for now never-finished FPS game. Geometry was created & textured in 3D Game Studio 7.5, it’s extremely low poly for today’s 3D standards.
I will try to tweak/fix-up this model to make it suck less in the following updates and also upload other rooms when the time permits.
Model can be downloaded & used for commercial/noncommercial projects of any kind. You don’t have to give me credit but I would love to see how you used it, no matter how small or big the project is.

In Kameoka city near Kyoto the castle is not there anymore but the walls remains. In fact they have been rebuilt to restore some of the former beauty of this location.
I captured 3 walls sections, the interesting thing here is the technique used to build the wall. Instead of well joined and polished stones here huge rocks are pilled up and smaller rocks fill the space between. It was suposedly designed to allow to hear soldiers cllimbing the wall as they would eventally let a small rock fall.
This third wall is a low wall before a gate to enter the castle ground. This wall as fewer and big stones taht fit well together. Some stomes are recycled from other building as testify the carving tah tcan be seen in many stomes used in this castle. Oda Nobunaga ordered this Castle contruction as a base for the invasion of Tanba region. A multi-faced sundial in the churchyard of St Marys Church, Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, UK.
This sundial (one of two at this location) is thought to date back to the mid 16th century, it is both a fine example and one of the earliest survivors of its type. The sundial is carved from limestone. There have been various restorations, the most recent was in 1971 when the gnomons were replaced. On the north side is carved the coat of arms of the Savage family.

Those who are going to die greet you]. The gladiator is – judging by his props – most likely a retiarius [net-fighter]. He fought with a trident or harpoon made of tuna bones, a dagger, and a net that he threw at his opponent’s head.
