Personal project “Hawkeye” We have no idea if he's from the past or if he just loves to dress this way. All we know about him is that he's an extremely strong warrior. A few minor changes had to be made to the concept because I wanted to create and animate this character as a game model, but it still looked to be quite similar to the original idea. Modeled in Maya, sculpted and rendered in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. I stumbled across an amazing concept of this bugbear by Jaemin Kim and thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to make a full character from a concept. I started by sculpting the whole body in ZBrush and then retopologized using the Zsphere tool. I then went on to unwrap him in 3ds Max, texture him in Substance Painter, finally using Maya to rig and do the simple breathing animation.
