A neo-noir 1940’s seductive woman designed to a brief. This project has taken me 1 1/2 weeks to complete, and has certainly been a challenge due to one of the requirements being that the character should look modeled rather than sculpted. This character was a lot of fun as it was an art style I’d never done before, and I’m pleased with the outcome!
I created a high poly sculpt to use as a base for the hair, body and dress, and then retoplogized it and modeled everything else in 3Ds Max.

My submission for the Search for a Star 2018 competition! The character took 4-5 weeks to create. Whilst I’d like to improve aspects of this character, I’m happy with how it turned out overall.
A regal knight who belongs to the Band of the Peacock. They are proud, and like to stand out on the battlefield and whilst sparring. All in the band are left handed, adding exclusivity to their band, and all fight with two-handed weapons. The Band are often paid to fight for others, and due to their popularity, they are wealthy men. The idea behind the knight is to create a design that is visually striking but also believable as something that could have existed in real life.

Several years passed with the same ol’ new year resolution - to complete this project. Thank you, Debbie. Your concept art has been inspiring, leading me to bring it to life in 3D! So here I am today to close this chapter and I look forward to moving on to the next new thing :)

In 1762, Baron Clive of Plassey, bought lands in County Limerick and County Clare, Ireland, naming part of his lands near Limerick city, Plassey. Following Irish independence, these lands became state property. In the 1970s a technical college, which later became the University of Limerick, was built at Plassey. Plassey is an area of Limerick City, about 5km upstream on the River Shannon from Limerick City centre. It is located near the suburbs of Castletroy and Monaleen. The University of Limerick has its main campus in the area, which is the site of Plassey House, a country house that serves as the University’s administrative centre. The University’s other main campus is located across the River Shannon, with the two campuses connected by two bridges.
