This project feels like the reimaging of two separate projects I’ve done in the past. Mountain top castle, and lighthouse island. Both projects that at the time I was pleased with, but looking back on I felt weren’t my best.

Now for this scene, I did something I don’t often do when It comes to modelling scenes. I purchased pre-existing work. I know! Crazy, but I was having a strange amount of trouble modelling grass, I couldn’t get anything that looked “grass” you know?
I found an awesome little collection pack of low poly natural and organic models. Something I do tend to struggle with making so I was in awe that I found something that fit my style and could be a great leg up in terms of things I struggle with. The objects were placed in the baskets using a rigid body. Someone asked me how many apples, tomatoes and pears are in the baskets. We have:
Apples = 26 (26 x 128 = 3328 faces)
Tomatoes = 43 (26 x 206 = 8858 faces)
Pears = 21 (21 x 110 = 2310 faces)
It should not be too difficult to reduce the number of polygons by omitting some of them.
