Baked rice (arrs al forn in Valencian) is a typical dish of the Valencian Community. It is made in clay casserole and cooked as the name suggests in the oven. For the container used in some places of the Valencian Community is called cassola (cassuela in Spanish). Its origin is in the use of the remains of the stew so its main ingredients are chickpeas and the various products from the pig used in itselaboration (chorizo, sausage,meat and balls made with minced meat)along with the obtained broth. Potatoes, tomato and ahead of garlic are also added by crowning the casserole.
