This is my 3D version of Anya, from the 1997 animated film “Anastasia". I have tried to be as faithful as possible to the original Don Bluth design. The body and the face was modeled and sculpt in Cinema4D and Blender. The outfit was made in Marvelous Designer. A personal project to further develop my learning at University and just aquire more knowledge with industry software. I started in Zbrush, retopologised in Maya, posed in Zbrush, baked and textured in Substance Painter. I am pretty happy with the outcome being my first character retopology and although there is a lot of stuff I would do different if I was to make it again, I believe it is better to take all the new lessons learnt onto my next project.
