A battle diorama based on the anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury”. Specifically the battle is based on the battle simulation between the students of Earth House and Grassley House from episode 9 of the anime. The Mobile suits on display inlcude: XVX-016 Gundam Aerial, CFK-029 Michaelis and the CEK-077 Beguir-Pente.
The models are rigged and optimized for real time rendering. I wanted to make a new hellenic thing, but then realised that this may be original Roman design - at least I found no evidence of greek origins of the design. It’s still doric though!
This model is based on the sarcophagus of Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus (clearly a roman guy), and here is the fun fact - the inscription on the tablet was once redone, most likely by one of the relatives of Scipio.
