This is a model of an old Tube tester that i found searching for my next project to undertake. I Really liked the aesthetics of the real world counterpart of this item. I'm always looking to challenge myself and attempted to mantain the realism with the textures of this model. Any critical feedback is welcomed as im always striving to improve in all aspects!. I started this prop for a larger scene with a blockout in Maya, Exported to zbrush, Sculpted the details and used insert models where necessary. Here are small assets of vintage books and wood bookshelves for my personal project. Given that the main character of the scene is not the typical little girl I thought it would be interesting to give her a wide variety of books that fit her personality. For the bookshelves I made two different finishes for the wood material. I am leaning more to the painted wood since it should give good contrast against the wall and also fits with the beach decor. Let me know which you prefer.
