There she is! The player avatar for Monomi Park's Slime Rancher! So many iteration to get to this point. Also, I have never worked with a normal map pipeline before, especially on a character. Learned a ton during the process of making her. In game, her face is handled via animated textures as compared to the sculpt here. Also, the in game materials are far more ‘cartoon' looking compared to here. As much as I'm happy with the character model, I hope that my future characters in this style surpass her in every way! EATEN is a personal free-time project, the idea was try to create a modern plague doctor character, I’ve based the concept from street goth female fashion, Bloodborne’s characters and film like “The Road” by John Hillcoat and “Children of Men” by Alfonso Cuaron.
