Quick scan of a mushroom found near Oxford. It belongs to the Agaricus genus. Not sure which species.
Based on a total of 228 x 12MP photos, acquired in the field with a smartphone camera in September 2020.
Top and bottom sides were scanned and processed separately, requiring manual mesh alignment and UV mixing. Set up as 2 x 4K PBR texture sets. Raw mesh decimated to around 2M vertices, and further retopologized as quads, down to 6.5K. Manual UV unwrapping, with only 7 islands.

The file incldues one where all the mesh is joined to one object and is unrigged. This due to a bug with Sketchfab. The other will not appear on the Sketchfab 3D veiwer. Despite this, the model works great!

The last character of my Oxymoron Project
This is a personal project I named Oxymoron Project. It consists of three main character which are contradictory. The project started when I heard by the very first time the meaning of oxymoron, a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction. The first concept was only on my head 8 years ago,and now they are in 3D. The first oxymoron example was cold fire and that’s how I imagined a cute flame character with cold. This character model was part of a game project for my final course this spring. This character was the main antagonist in our game “Jeniah”, and he was the final boss of the game that the player had to fight against and defeat. Our game project was very inspired by Souls-games like Dark Souls and a little bit of Bloodborne, and so I did my best to try and get the rigth “feeling” for the characters.
I had four days to come up with the concept, model from scratch, and texture this character and put it in the game.
