On this day in 2009, the bitcoin network was created when Satoshi Nakamoto mined the starting block of the chain, known as the genesis block. I am proud to present my latest 3D model: a bust of Dorian S. Nakamoto, a man whose name is similar to the Bitcoin inventor. The texture of the bust is inspired by an engraving technique used on one dollar bills. The model also includes a fractal blocks layer representing the true essence of Satoshi. Hi all!
This is a project I’ve been working on for around a week and a half. I was set a project by my University to create a “well” in any style. I’ve always loved how stylized/hand-painted assets look in games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends etc. So I wanted to take it upon myself to attempt this style.
