Hypostyle hall of the Hathor shrine at the temple of Hatshepsut was the most difficult part of the photoscanning project from scientific grant “Dialog” (under directory of Jadwiga Iwaszczuk PhD, founded by National Science Centre of Poland for collaboration of IKŚiO PAN (Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures, Polish Academy of Science), PCMA UW (Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archeology, University of Warsaw) and Ministry of Antiquities of Arab Republic of Egypt.
Model was created from 5159 photos taken during a one hour of light gap per day, when the temple is covered by the shadow of the mountain in the late afternoon, but with still enough light for sharp images. I like this model, I think it looks super cute, and colors make it look like a candy. It’s a high-poly model which consists out of 17K triangles, cause I wanted to be as smooth as possible. I decided to do handpainted textures to get more cute and simple look.

This is the Egyptian Revival Style mausoleum of Emil Winter in Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Cemetery. The model was created using Agisoft’s Photoscan Pro from 80, 18MP images taken on July 19, 2015 using a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and a 18-55mm lens. Still a work in progress with additional detail to add and geometry to fix.
The mausoleum was built in 1930 and is a nearly exact duplicate of the one designed by John Russell Pope in 1920 and built for department store mogul F. W. Woolworth in Woodlawn Cemetery in New York.
