“Am I Truly the Last?“
When I was a child, I have seen 1hour of this movie and I looked for the rest all through my teens. Now, I know the last 30minutes of this masterpiece and the #StorybookChallenge was the opportunity to make a 3D piece in memory of my childhood.
The movie was based on a original story of the same name, so I decided to make this scene in a book with an aspect 2D to 3D because of the traditional animation found throughout the movie.
Thanks to my friend @Vailys for her tips and my boyfriend @Kalomnia for his advices during the process !

Sci fi gun concepted by me. I’ve always loved the shape design of a p90 so I wanted to create a sci-fi looking gun using the same shape language. My little sister also love unicorns so when she saw I was stumped on my design she gave the idea of unicorn gun. I decided to run with the idea so I started concepting in maya using booleans. After a couple of designs I decided to go with this one. I modeled the gun in maya and then textured it using substance painter and photoshop. I made this model as a request from a person for 3d printing. I was given full freedom on making style for this model. The design was made like this to be more suitable for printing. I like this model, I think it looks super cute, and colors make it look like a candy. It’s a high-poly model which consists out of 17K triangles, cause I wanted to be as smooth as possible. I decided to do handpainted textures to get more cute and simple look.
