Hi everyone, this is my fanart of Hoshino Ai from Oshi no ko. I made this model to celebrate the anime’s premieres on 12th April 2023.
Something about Ai attracts me, maybe she’s very cheerful, that’s why. Ai is a 16 years old idol and I shall not spoil the story by revealing too much. You guys just have to read the manga or watch the anime to find out.
Hope you guys like this fanart as much as I do. I want to stand outside my comfort zone by modelling the environment together with the character. The game has a low-poly aesthetic and i wanted to try to make a more photoreal version and had to make some adjustments to the design to fit the change. My inspiration for these props came from an old intrest in strange tabletop items like globes, hourglasses, and scales. I remember as a kid staring at maps and fiddling with hourglasses watching the sand dribble down to each side.
