This is it my first game character I make in 3D, and I finally finshed :D After months studying with the course Anatomy of Rafael Souza (And another ones along the way, like game hair, render on marmoset, etc), I have finally finished this piece, where I made it everything from the scratch, trying to capture the concepts from Prince Of Persia Warrior Within (One of my favorites games, hope Ubisoft make another game). This was the hardest piece I've ever worked on, where many time I haved to redone some parts to get it right, but it was very fun to learn all the techniques (in sculpting and real-time) necessary to make it. Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.
