First object to test out my new macro lens for the NX30. Does solid work, but i think there´s much room to improve. The leafes were particularly difficult to scan and required much subsequent sculpting. If anyone got suggestion on how to improve in marco photogrammetry or tips about workflows and setups.. throw them out. A victorian era fruit plate from my victorian still life.
It was done in Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and 3D Coat.
To create the engravings on the plate, I modeled and rendered the shapes in Blender as a height map and used them as a brush in sculpt mode with radial symmetry in Blender and as an alpha with radial symmetry in Substance Painter.
