This is Matilda, a stylized character I made for the “Stylized Character Challenge Course" at Game Art Institute (now Vertex School). I had the chance to create a complete character, starting from a concept, in one month following a clear and informative tutorial done by Yulia Sokolova and attending weekly feedback sessions with Ryan Kingslien. This is my first experience in creation a lowpoly character model from a hipoly model.

We have no idea if he’s from the past or if he just loves to dress this way. All we know about him is that he’s an extremely strong warrior.
A few minor changes had to be made to the concept because I wanted to create and animate this character as a game model, but it still looked to be quite similar to the original idea.
