Made this piece based on concept art called 部落 Mönkhtsetseg by Crispy Mushrooms! This was done over the course of 9 weeks during the CGMA course: Stylized Character Arts for Games with instructor Weston Reid! The character blockout and sculpt were done in ZBrush, retopology in Blender and CozyBlanket, baking in Marmoset Toolbag 4, texturing in Substance Painter and 3DCoat, and finally rigged and animated back in Blender! The class was challenging, but I had a lot of fun and learned a lot! I'm super excited to apply what I've learned in future pieces! Excited about the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition? Well, I am for sure, so I had to make some fanarts to ease the hype!! Here is a recreation of the new Monado design shown in on of the latest trailers for the Future Connected epilogue. I only had the trailer as reference, so I had to use a bit of imagination for some pieces and proportions, and for the open/close mechanism too!
This was a very exciting hard-surface project, and I loved working on it. Stay tunned for more fanarts coming in the future!

Fan-art from the game Final Fantasy 7!! This is the Cosmo Canyon, one of the cities that can be visited through the game. It was a comission where I was asked to made an stylized and simplified version of the place, and this is how it turned out!
I decided to push the limit of Sketchfab’s capabilities, and added a day-night cycle to the scene. It was a bit tricky, as lamps can’t be animated, at least for now. But I think this works quite nicely. I hope you like it! :D
