This tower has long since been abandoned by its former occupants and lies in ruin. I used the Warhammer 40k models Witchfate Tor and Dreadstone Blight as my main references for the design of the tower. I started this model in Maya, blocking in all the shapes. Then I moved to ZBrush and sculpted in detail. In hindsight, I wish I had made this a more modular blockout because I ran out of time sculpting each individual piece. After I had sculpted enough to finish baking my Game Res mesh I moved to texturing in Substance Painter. It took a bit of time to get my UV’s laid out well enough to have the resolution I wanted, and I ended up going from 1 texture set to 2 in order to achieve the level of detail I wanted. I decided to release this model of Uzi’s a railgun from Murder Drones!
Warning: I used a lot of materials while animating, so it may not be decent. The aim was overall dimensional accuracy (like shape and size) and not fanciness (little details, textures, or any other uzi’s additions) of the weapon.
Aaaand it’s just a .blend file where the railgun spins, that’s why the preview is kinda clunky.
Just put this file in blender and do whatever you want with this model… change materials, texture it, export it, improve it, put it in games etc… it’s all up to you for now.
