There are 4 regimental buttons going down the front of the jacket, however there is evidence that it is well worn due to general wear and tear of the garment and a button missing. There are 5 pockets lining the jacket, 2 on the breast and 2 on the hips, all secured with the same regimental buttons that are the same as the ones down the front. There is then one concealed welt pocket on the right-hand side along the belt line. There are 2 Cornwall badges on either side of the collar, decorated with a crown and bugle badge, along with either regimental button fastenings on either shoulder. There are 2 hook and eye fastenings on the collar of the jacket with 5 metal buttons running down the right-hand side of the jacket. There are 2 pockets on either breast fastened with a plain button. On the top of either sleeve is a Cornwall badge in red, and directly brlow is a blue patch with a yellow dragon detailing. There is a slight spot of discoloration on the bottom of the breast pocket on the right- this almost looks like some sort of bleach stain. Inside the jacket is a label that reads “Battledress Blouses, Serge. Size no 6.” And the date stamp is June 1942.
