I’ve been working on this project since mid January now and it’s finally finished! Everything is modelled in Blender and the textures are painted in Photoshop. Diffuse and Alpha maps only.
I thought I would create a scene with a small story behind it.
The mysterious tiny wizard was experimenting with his rare mandrake Root and home grown crystals. He found an old recepice on how to create a special magic potion with the ancient root. By trying it out, he mixes the wrong ingredients together, which turns out to be a magic spell for opening portals. The UAZ-452 was taken as the basis. I wanted to make something incredible and extreme out of this car.
Therefore, I decided to make a prototype for asphalt ring roads. The car has developed aerodynamics and a good power-to-weight ratio, so the speed should be good. When creating this project, I was inspired by advanced solutions in the creation of racing cars from leading auto manufacturers such as McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche and others.
This is the first 3D model of the car in May and the first project of this level of complexity, but I liked it, I will improve further in this direction.
