This is a personal project. I was given permission from Steve Prescott, an Illustrator and Concept Artist, to use one of his character concepts for this 3D project. This is a character out of the digital card game called Soul Spark. It's been a wonderful journey and I'm sincerely pleased as to how it turned out in the end. Hello, this is my version of “Apylon, the Soul-Render” by Blizzard.
I felt like this is such a cool sword, I wanted to give it a remake, and ended up making a sword quite different from Blizzards own style.
For modelling I used.
“3DS Max” (basemesh, retopo cleanup, and unwrap) & “ZBrush” for the highpoly.
Texturing:
