The bare chassis was ordered from Detroit through the Edelweiss Garage – being the local Cadillac dealer in Morges, beside Lausanne, Switzerland – by Philippe Barraud, son of William Barraud and nephew of William’s brother, Maurice, both wealthy Swiss industrialist who had “built” their fortune in red bricks and roofing tiles.
Philippe had a local Swiss coachbuilder, Willy Hartmann of Lausanne, create and build for him a custom 2-pass roadster on the V16 chassis. He used the car intermittently between 1937 and the early 60s. So this is a little experiment I’ve been contemplating on, inspired by the food assets in Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy 15.
I took photographs of an actual meal I cooked, and spliced them in Substance Painter with a few models I specially built from reference.
Nasi Lemak is a traditional Indonesian/Malaysian dish, consisting of spiced rice, coconut milk/shavings, a portion of meat (chicken) and fresh prawns, sometimes accompanied by a fried egg.
The hardest part was translating the lighting from Substance Painter to Unreal Engine, and I have recreated it as best as I can here in sketchfab.
