My first tryout with my new camera (Sony a6500), paired with a Sigma 30mm C lens.
These shoes are relatively ooold :), but they’re special. At that time i was ‘fan’ of the Adidas Goodyear shoes because of the sleek and slim design and their undestructibility. Then Adidas started collaborating with Porsche and came with these (as their first i think?). Now they make for awesome looking worn out shoes.
Took around 300 photos, processed at maximum resolution in Agisoft. PBR materials created in Substance painter. Remeshing done with Instant Meshes.

Anyone who likes curves should love this one. In some areas there are curves intersecting on more than one axis. It’s definitely one of the more challenging models I’ve worked on so far.
Also for use with VR. The cockpit is modeled inside as well. The glass may obscure it here but it’s there. Needs some dashboard stuffs which I’ll be adding eventually.. if time permits.
I made some changes to the cockpit considering all the curves it seemed wrong to use old square monitors and such. The idea was to match the exterior a bit more than the orginal. In the late 80’s, Nissan decided to create a small lineup of retro styled cars: The Pike Cars. That line up was based on the K10 Nissan March and featured mostly March-y running gear. This one is different, altho sources vary a lot on what is it based on, the Nissan S-Cargo featured a 1.5L Inline-4 engine and a 3 speed automatic, in contrast to the 1.0 and 1.2L inline-4 engines of the other Pike/March models. The S-Cargo’s design was heavily inspired by Snails and by the Citröen 2CV Fourgonnette. The name is also a play on the french word for Snail: Escargot. I think its safe to say that she’s finally done. Began as an asset for a group project which never got off the drawing board. The idea was for a racing vehicle which moves at high speeds over water. I looked at retro and classic car and plane designs to get the initial concept done, and the design process snowballed into what you see here.
Specular and Normals are a little rushed but they do the job.
