The MBAR .45-70 is more or less exactly what it sounds like. A modernized (ca. 1980) BAR chambered in .45-70 Govt. Here featuring an under-slung M203 grenade launcher and a 60 round drum magazine, the MBAR was capable 500 rounds per minute, assuming the operator could handle the intense recoil. The weighted barrel extension and included bi-pod helped to mitigate this drawback but even so the MBAR was more bucking bronco than thoroughbred. Experimenting with James on turning 3D scans into low-poly creations!
A low poly version of my 3D reconstruction of Barack Obama made a few months ago.
I decimated the model with Meshlab, and then played with the filter gallery of Photoshop to simplified the texture.
Still think it’s possible to do better if we apply an average color to each polygon.
