Hope you like this model! Who is Brock? Brock is originally the Gym Leader of Pewter City Gym but he decided to follow his dream to become the greatest Pokémon Breeder. After his defeat against Ash Ketchum, he quickly gave up his title. He accompanied Ash on his journey for quite some time, all while trying to live up to his goal. He currently wishes to be a great Pokémon Doctor. He has travelled with Ash from Kanto to Sinnoh. He is one of the main characters in the series. A one-day project. I’ve had this idea for a mournful hand clasping a rose for a while, but it never felt complete. Adding the pendant and chain I felt really added the needed story to really bring the piece together.
Hand model was from MakeHuman, all else I modelled in Blender. Textures were done in Substance Painter, then brought back into Blender 2.79 for rendering using the Principled BSDF for most surfaces, except the topaz crystal heart, which was done with my own custom absorption glass shader.
