The MP5SD Optimized for mobile/Standalone VR applications with a polycount of 2499Tris The version to the right has a single 1024x1024 texture while the Left is the 4096x4096 Version. The 1024x1024 version suffers a little bit due to sketchfab texture compression but should look cleaner in your target engine if compression quality is set to high or none. For correct rotations in Unity engine you might need to tick the “Bake axis conversion” import option when importing the FBX. This work is based on a Sketchup-file. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of its author. Anyway, thanks for the great model! Several years ago I converted and repaired it into a watertight STL-file.
My purpose is to provide watertight STL-files for you, which can easily be modified for 3D-printing, according to your personal preferences. Because of that, most of my models are not repaired into one single shell. According to my own experience, this may be a bit more difficult for the preparation of the build, but helps you a lot, if you want to personalize the model. E.g. if you want to seperate parts, such as wheels or mirrors or to remove delicate details like wipers, door handles etc.
Before printing, please check out if you have to modify the model, depending on the favored size of your print and the requirements of your printer. I hope you enjoy it. Happy printing!
