As such I have also included a quad version of the model in case anyone wants to edit the unwraps, change the construction, rebake, optimise model, retexture etc without having a ton of triangles to deal with. Model uses weighted normals so no baked edges as they are chamfered. Normal map is for height detail. Mostly the reworks are UV Map for body & windows and shaders/materials so that it will be compatible with Blender Cycles engine. This huge sculpture stands in the middle of Bordeaux (France). When I walked by, I was stunned by this “half flat” sculpture, and shot it with my phone. I was realy impressed by the very realistic rendering, although most of the volume has been flattened. Another feature worth noting : its proportions take into account the fact that the viewer is on the ground, so that the upper part of the head is much larger than it should be , to compensate for the perspective. This is a technique that has been know for a long time, (used by Michelangelo), but it’s interesting to see how it applies here.
