“La Manola” is the colloquial name for a sculptural fountain made of cast iron, approximately 3.20 meters high, located in the central area of the Parterre gardens, in the vicinity of the church of Santa María in the town of Daimiel (Ciudad Real, Spain). This composition was manufactured in the Mac Naughtan Bros foundry in the city of Glasgow based in Valencia, being installed in Daimiel in 1891.

Tadinanefer Coffin 3D Model.
Download Tadinanefer Coffin in various files formats such as Wavefront Object format, Autodesk FBX, DirectX 9.0, Stereo Lithography and HTML5 JSON format.
The provenance of this coffin is uncertain, but experts believe it to have been produced at el-Hibeh in Middle Egypt, sometime between 664 and 330 BCE. It has several unique iconographical features that allow experts to determine its origin and relative date.
The names on the coffin are a little bit difficult to translate because of the way the glyphs are stacked together, and because the filiation of the deceased is expressed as it would be in Demotic instead of Middle Egyptian. In fact, there is a final glyph on the name of the coffin’s owner that experts are still trying to figure out, so the rendering of her name as Tadinanefer is provisional. Her father’s name is likely Pakhered. Her mother is Ireteru, which is a common name for men and women during the Saite period and later. None of them have any titles.
Date: probably sometime between 664 and 330 BCE.

Ishtar, (Akkadian), Sumerian Inanna, in Mesopotamian religion, goddess of war and ual love. Ishtar is the Akkadian counterpart of the West Semitic goddess Astarte. Inanna, an important goddess in the Sumerian pantheon, came to be identified with Ishtar, but it is uncertain whether Inanna is also of Semitic origin or whether, as is more likely, her similarity to Ishtar caused the two to be identified.

The Delphic maxims are a set of maxims inscribed on the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. Originally, they were said to have been given by the Greek god Apollo’s Oracle at Delphi, Pythia, and therefore were attributed to Apollo. The 3rd century doxographer Diogenes Laertius attributed them to the Seven Sages of Greece as did the 5th century scholar Stobaeus. Contemporary scholars, however, hold that their original authorship is uncertain and that ‘most likely they were popular proverbs, which tended later to be attributed to particular sages.’ Roman educator Quintilian argued that students should copy those aphorisms often to improve their moral core. Perhaps the most famous of these maxims is ‘Γνῶθι σεαυτόν’ - ‘Know thyself,’ which was the first of three maxims carved above the entrance to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi.
