Hello!
This Rad looking gas mask is one of my favourite pieces of survival equipment. There’s a good chance you recognize it as it’s especially iconic and appears in various media as a cool looking respirator, despite rarely being named.
It’s been used by many different military and civilian organisations, not the least of which was British special forces, who used versions in both counter terrorist and “regular” operations overseas by both the SAS and SBS.
This was modelled off of an Ex-police example that I own because I’m a massive nerd.
As for the model itself, it uses mostly 2K maps, was Modelled in 3DSMax and baked in xnormal. I was pleasantly surprised at the effect a good cavity map had in PBR!
Actually turned out fairly high poly, but a few LODS helped that in-engine.

HCAR or if you have lots of time to say it: Heavy Counter Assault Rifle is sort of a “spiritual” younger brother of classic Browning Automatic Rifle( M1918A3 ) with lots of modern tacticool stuff slaped all around it.
Even if gun look really nice, and as far as I know and read, its shoot well, it wasnt really a sucess and lots of people have weird hatred toward it due to being pricy and only semi-auto…
But in games and animations this gun look really nice, and we can set it to full auto without any problem so its nice addition to any project that need some fresh big caliber gun :]
Model is Rigged. It have two main PBR materials in 4k + one for addons(bipod, iron sights and muzzle brake) also in 4K. There is also Black version available.
