Quite possibly my longest project. So long, in fact, that I had to squeeze two projects in between to rest my eyes. But the concept is so good that I wanted to do it justice and recreate it as faithfully as I could. The most challenging bit was the grass and I was scratching my head trying to figure out how to render it. In the end I used partially transparent planes with painted texture. It isn’t best suited for 3D inspection, the illusion quickly falls appart, but I learned a new technique that will help me in future projects.
