I created this model originally in Blender. I modeled everything you see by hand. I then brought the model over into Substance Painter and created the procedural Apple Skin you see and then added the details. I saw many use Apple photos for their models and I decided to instead create a procedural texture, so that I could use the material on mutiple apples and just add details as needed. Here is the project “Infected Tree House”, which I have made for the module of 3D Modeling at Saxion University!
Well, I have to say that this was the first time when I really enjoyed the whole process: from creating a moodboard, sketching, and choosing colours, until the modelling in “Maya” and texturing in “Substance Painter” parts! Enjoy!
