This is a tribute to the creative team behind the now classic 80s sci-fi film Robocop (1987), in a playful cartoony style. Models and rigging done in September 2015, finally added proper looping animation & enhanced the textures in July 2017. Robocop’s nemesis ED209 is doing a ta-da remembering it’s staircase misadventure from the movie. For Murphy, I made him drawing his Auto-9 pistol and takes aim, but does his classic gun spin and holster without firing. As police brutality and unnecessary killings of innocent people are frequent news in US these days, I do hope the future of law enforcement will always serve public trust, protect the innocence, and uphold the law. This is an animation of an female Great Hammerhead Shark (Sphyrna mokarran) that was reconstructed from multiple cameras arranged around a dive in South Bimini, Bahamas in February 2020. Casey Sapp coordinated all videography. Kevin Davidson kindly contributed useful reference photos. CG artist Jer Bot used the software Blender to align these camera views to reconstruct the accurate shape and color of Nemesis (PIT tag 900236000107365), which had an estimated length of 329 cm based on laser photogrammetry. Nemesis commonly frequents dive spots near Bimini and is well-known to divers and scientists from the Bimini shark lab (www.biminisharklab.com). The ANGARI Foundation (www.angari.org) coordinated and supported this research, along with Sean Williams, Ken Morton, Jonathan and Jameson Bayuk, Annabelle Brooks, and Vital Heim.
