I wanted to make something more conventional and different from my past projects, so I decided to model a gasmask. Which then expanded to modelling a reinforced helmet and then finally active hearing protection. I also wanted to do skin weights and import assets into a game, since its fun to see models “alive”, so I added these to my XCOM 2 mod.
This is a tweaked version from my recent XCOM 2 mod update, as the materials in the game require certain deviations from the basic PBR workflow 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 16763 polygons.
