A fun side project with the goal of recreating a Pokemon card with the picture being 3D. This card is actually one which I have, and chose because I like the style and the parallax layers, and thought it would be an easy one to try out. I definitely want to do more of these in the future!
The most difficult part was actually just that Maya wouldnt render so many planes at once. So I had to reupload as a draft to sketchfab to check the model, and tehn make my changes based on the sketchfab model.

This trash can was modeled for Mabee business buidling’s room 316 VR project.
I found this project to be the most entertaining out of the three I worked on for this project because of the trash inside the trash can.
I added more to the project than I was required such as a trash bag, crumpled paper, soda can (with tab), and Starbucks coffee cup to place inside the trash can. Over several assessments I have made and worked on some assets and wanted to display them, but felt that they were lacking just being on their own. Many of these assets were toy like, and I brainstormed different scenes I could fit them into.
I decided on a child’s room, and built some supporting assets to build the corner of a room.
I challenged myself to complete it within a day, though I ended up using most of a second day as well. Overall it was a simple, fun scene, and a nice break from character work.
